5Great 16 year old watch!Mar 17, 2010
By Natter2002
I bought this watch from Target in 1994. 16, yes 16 years later and it still is going strong! The only thing I've ever done to it is replace batteries when it stops working for a couple of bucks and 10 minutes from Walmart and then for free for some reason over all the years I've had this watch Walmart will replace the thin metal spring loaded pegs that hold the (Mine is silverish metal band but the watch is the same) band to the watch. They bend out of shape about every 6 months. You have to be careful not to lose your watch because sometimes it gets caught and bends the pegs and the band pops right off. Think of them as sacrificial pins. For a few bucks you can buy a whole pack of them yourself and replace them with some practice and no tools in under 5 minutes. I got it when I was 16 and it has gone through 14 years of military service so far! I have pictures of me in basic training wearing it. Anyway the silver has worn off around the raised bezel areas and along the sides where the crown is, so it looks gold. The raised bezel has saved the face of the watch from many scratches. Great watch. Who knew?

5Good watchJul 31, 2008
By David Mckibbin "Idiot Wind"
I like this watch and it has been very reliable for me. My first one lasted 13 years and I just purchased a replacement. I prefer this medium size case to the larger ones. Both have kept excellent time: within seconds a month. The first one developed a problem with the stem after 4 years (way out of warranty) and Wenger fixed it quickly for free. After 13 years I replaced the battery and due to excessive wear on the rear bezel, the rear cap would not reseal water tight. I can't complain: I wear it everywhere and has been a rugged watch.

5Reliable, Durable, and well built.Jun 02, 2009
By Bryan C. Steenerson
I bought this watch 4 years ago. Since then I have not had a single problem with the watch. Even the original leather band and clasp are holding firmly in place just as the day I bought it. It has kept perfect time in the last 4 years and I have never had to reset the time. It still is running off of the original battery. I am very active and this watch has been all over the world and countryside with the face getting scrapped against rocks, so far the scratch resistant quartz face has held true to its word. I have owned many watches, and this one has been the best one by far. ***Update June 8th, 2010*** This watch is still working great! Leather strap holds together great, it doesn't miss a beat as far as time keeping is concerned & amazingly enough it's still running off of the original battery! I wear it every day and it holds up like a champ!

1Poor WatchDec 05, 2007

This Watch started loosing time the warrenty will not pay for shipping so the cost to me will be $20.00 plus to get a $70.00 item repaired. May have been a better purchase form a retailer in my city.

5Nice one!Jan 24, 2012

I absolutely love the way this watch looks and feels in my hand; I do not ever wear it though; I mainly store it in its original box; I have an extensive watch collection and I do enjoy taking this out to wear it ocasionally. The brushed, stainless steel bezel glimmers in the sun. I hope to have this for a very long time; seeing as how I never wear it, I will most likely be able to pass it down to future generations!LOL Since I am handicap and limited in my physical activity this will probably remain in mint condition forever!
