Good,durable,easy to read watchMay 19, 2010
By Fred I've owned many watches primarily from swiss army but this is the first from victorionox, and honestly is one of the best watches ive purchused(for the price). To keep it short ill list its strengths and weaknesses in a pro con chart. pro -offers military time in the inner circle of the watch - bezzle(rotating wheel on the watch) is very clear and offers little numbers for minutes although i wish they had continued the numbers past 15 - THEYRE NOT LYING WHEN THEY SAY ITS SHOCK RESISTANT, i wore this when i was learning to do a handstand(dont ask) if i had tryd doing it with my old watch the symbol at the top wouldve fallen off - Very nice band it has little notch kind of things on the inside which i think siphone out water(just a guess) and since in live in a climate where the average is 110 in the summer thats very helpful with sweat - the illuminators( make it glow green in the dark) are very hard to see except on the bezzel which at first seems redundant but ive found it helpful in certain instances cons - im a little torn on whether i like the date function covering the 4 instead of 3 it. - thats honestly the only thing i wrong with it i honestly think its the epitome of watchs for this price
WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i bought my watch on amazon with gemnation as the supplier of it, and while it says its a deployment clasp when mine came it was a buckle( which i was actually planning on switching the deployment clasp to when it came so thank you very much gemnation )
A LITTLE NOTE while it seems like i like this watch alot im not a person paid buy amazon to write a review about this watch however the other review seems to me like its written by a paid person but thats just me.

UPDATE---/////7-9-10 ///// I noticed that the bezel has become a little loose i.e its easier to turn(making it better in my opinion) and i forgot to say that the illumination will last all night but its incredibly dim however still its readable you just have to squint alot i still enjoy it but im moving onto a TAWATEC automatic w/ tritium its not available on amazon=(

Really nice functional watchDec 30, 2009
By Daniel I have had this watch for several months now and have been impressed with it. Firstly it looks great, its stylish and it looks just as good with a suit as it does in the outdoors. Its also a really tough watch, I regularly use power and impact tools and the watch stands up to the punishment. If your looking for a classy tough watch this one is for you.

Love it!Dec 05, 2011
By Ege Bamyasi Just got the watch today. Thought it would be a little bigger, but the size is perfect. Its light weight but doesn't feel cheap. I've been wearing it for only five hours but you can feel and see the Victorinox quality and attention to detail. Amazon did a great job, it was the correct order and it came on time. Also kudos to UPS. I went to their website and changed my delivery location last night. The watch still came on time. Highly recommned all Victorinox products.

This watch is not your jumbo size watch that are so in style these days. It is a fairly moderate in size. On my small wrist there is plenty of room for the face. Second, this watch has illuminated hands and a illuminated triangle on the bezel, the numbers are not illuminated. The strap is plain heavy rudder with a fairly substantial buckle. You should be aware that this watch is rated at 100m (300ft) which sounds astounding but the manual that comes with the watch says this means its rated for swimming and snorkeling only (not diving --for that your suppose to look for 500ft). Because atmosphere and bumps they recommend the watch be tested every 18 months by an authorized dealer and don't warranty it for waterproof. The watch came with a 80 page manual but only 15 of those are in English. The rest is other languages. The 15 pages cover every make of Victorinox watch so to some degree you have to deduce which one you have. I learned from the manual that some models come with alarms, inner bezels, screw down stems --this one does not. As a plain "swimming and snorkeling" watch I think this does the job. Nothing fancy.
