 warranty is tricky... be careful... read my comment on INVICTASDec 06, 2010

MY watch stopped working after a month or so from buying it... it stopped and i thought it was the battery.. however, i went to a watch repairman and tried to change the battery.. he did not have the battery and told me that i should contact invicta if i had a warranty.
Today, i called them, and well, they said that some things are not covered by the warranty, second, that i have to pay my own shipping to florida, third, that i have to attach a 28 dollars check for them to ship back my watch. MOREOVER, they said that if there is something not covered in the warranty, i should also pay the rest (assuming the watch costs 395 dollars, battery would cost you like 50 bucks for them to replace)...
right, you buy a 40 bucks watch and the business is to sell warranties because they know it will fail... thanks invicta for such a bad product...

Picked the watch up for a whole $35 bucks; well worth the money. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the watch face is actually a really really dark green that comes across as black except in direct sunlight.

I got this watch for $38 and I really like it because it has a nice size. When I bought it the picture was for a green watch, but when a received it the watch was really dark, but I still like the new color.

Shipping was very fast, and easy to track, from amazon.com.
This is a very atttactive watch. The dark green dial looks very rich green, in bright daylight, but black in subdued light. The large white numbers appeal to me. The stainless steel case and bracelet is heavy and solid, but still comfortable. It is a large watch at 48mm diameter including the crown. I have a bit bigger than average wrist, and I had to remove 3 links to make it right for me. Link pins are very snug, but routine to remove.
Accuracy is about average for a quartz. The watch averages about 3 seconds loss per week. The screw-on back was routine to remove, but the O-ring gasket was not seated properly at the factory. It was easily corrected on reinstallation of the back. The plastic Japan quartz movement is anti-climatic, for the heavy steel enclosure. It looks tiny in the big case, but if it is reliable and accurate, who cares?
Synchronization of the second hand and minute hand was difficult because of back-lash. Best compromise appears to be to set minute hand about 10 sec ahead, and let it back lash as crown
is pushed back in place. After setting, minute hand syncs at about +15 sec. This is just aesthetic, and doesn't affect accuracy.
I have had this watch for a little over 2 months, at the time of writing this review, and it is doing fine so far. For $35.99, it was certainly a good deal. It is large and heavy, so I don't wear it all the time, because I have other smaller lighter watches, that better suit my life style. But, when the mood is right, it is a very nice addition to my collection.

This watch is a really nice .....nice band,keeps great time.....but i don't see the green interface...green is my favor color...and i see a black back ground....outside of that it's bad ass watch...i would not have order buy this watch if i knew it wasn't a green back ground
