Great Dive WatchJul 10, 2006
By Gerald Had a tough time choosing between citizen dive watches, like the stored info so I bought this one. Really easy to use. The auto on in water is a great feature, no more forget to starts. The depth guage seems very acurate, measured it against console depth, was within 2-3 feet. Easy to recall up to last four dives. If you fill four memory slots be sure to record info before you snorkel(if you plan on doing any freediving) it will take a slot once you pass four feet. Very happy with watch, short of dive computer watch this is a great tool and it looks good.

Great watch - for diving onlyJan 12, 2008
By Michael N. Fowler I got this watch to replace my Luminox that aquired a cracked crystal on a dive and flooded. My first impressions were fantastic, but I ran into the problem that if I sweated, or if the humidity in an area were too high, the watch would go into dive mode. End result is that the battery is dead in less than 3 years, AND the watch can only be serviced at an authorzied Citizen service center. If you are looking for a watch to ONLY dive with, this is a great watch. If you are looking for something to dive with and to wear every day, look elsewhere.

Almost perfect...Sep 17, 2007
By TJ This watch is a wonderful, durable backup to your dive computer. Made of titanium, it doesn't suffer from the heavy weight of other dive watches. I absolutely love everything about it, with two exceptions: the placement of the water sensor turns the "dive mode" on if you happen to be sweating; even though the watch is marked to glow in the dark, it is unreadable at night. There's no light and the marking is so poorly designed that you can't make anything out. It is reasonably accurate (about 3 seconds a month).

Great addition to my dive bagNov 03, 2006
By B. Press I've had this watch for about 4 years. It has performed very well on all dives. I like that it has a very audible depth alarm (my old camera housing was only good to 90ft) and it is much easier to check depth and time than on my suunto cobra attached to my BC. The cobra audibles are not nearly loud enough.
Downside: No backlight. It would really benefit from some aquaglow or something.

Out with the old - in with the newMay 27, 2010
By Gene Thompson My 1992 Citizen AQUALAND watch died after 18 years of use. Citizen offered a trade in with a 50% discount on their website but with shipping and taxes it was only $1.5 less then Amazon. Also, Citizen was out of stock for ??? months. The new watch has some great new features and I do enjoy how much lighter the watch is to the my older one. I do admit that I don't like the autostart for the dive mode. Wish it was not so sensitve. Just hope I can get 18 years out of this one. The users that are complaining about the battery life, 3 years is great. I use to send my watch back every 6 months (100.00 each time) in the early 90's but I was doing 300+ dives a year.
Hope this helps you!!
