Sometimes it was a hassle to pull out a phone to check the time (especially while doing something), so I decided to purchase a rugged but stylish watch. Took about 15 minutes to become familiar with options. I will be using this watch to keep time when riding motorcycle or at gun range. I love it!

There are all sorts of extras to the watch that I don't or haven't found a reason to use, but for this watch the price is worth it. I swim with it, run with it, use it during PT, everything. I'll probably get the clear Baby G as far as fashion goes but I have no problem wearing this. Perfect.

This watch is awesome. Stylish, rugged and has all the necessary bells & whistles. Has world timer, 5 different alarm settings (do you really need to set 5 daily alarms?), countdown timer, stopwatch, and can store up to 25 phone numbers. I uploaded a correct photo of this model. See last pic with "notes" written below. The "Baby-G" logo is in white and not red as the other photos show. The stylish rod accents do not hinder the display. However, I had to wear reading glasses to read the tiny manual. The rods are encased in some type of rubber/resin material and are in place to prevent face from being damaged if you hit the watch against something. Pretty cool idea on Casio's part. The band is comfortable and I wear this watch outside when bicycling/tennis. The plastic band and watch case are made from shiny material which looks stylish. Great watch for the money. Matter of fact, now I want the Baby-G Ladies Reef watch.

My wife is very particular, and she seldom if ever wears a watch. This g-shock
was given to her for a gift during the holidays, and she wears it everyday. She
owns several other watches, all much more expensive, but this is the only one worn
on a daily basis. She has told me that it is comfortable, accurate, and rugged.
In the final analysis, those are the ideal features of a wristwatch.

I really like this brand and have a white watch in this style. This was my first time buying this product online and I have found it is a lot cheaper to buy it through amazon than buying at the store for retail price. At the store it is regular $80 or more but I bought this product online for $50 (with free shipping). This watch is great for those who are looking for a comfortable water proof sports watch. It looks professional but sporty at the same time. Its the best digital watch out there and the black looks great.
